Factors Associated with Psychological Well-Being of Patients with Spinal Cord Injury as Focus of Psychotherapy

ABSTRACT
The theme of achieving psychological well-being is one of the most urgent for persons with disabilities. The aim ofthe study is the selection of psychological factors associated with overall psychological well-being and the structuralcomponents of psychological well-being in patients with spinal cord injury. With the help of factor analysis in 50 patientsdivided into five comprehensive factors-the foci that determine the direction of therapist activity in a rehabilitation hospital.It support resilience and emotional status, the development of a positive motivational state (hope), combating socialexclusion and widening social contacts, and promoting personal growth, including the development of autonomy.
