ABSTRACT

Dorsalgias (painful back syndromes) occupy one of the leading places among rheumatic complaints of the population,as well as in patients with pulmonological and gynecological diseases. Almost every person with a certain discreteness experiencedback pain of varying severity. The lesion of the fascia, the musculoskeletal apparatus of the back and the joints ofthe spine, as studies show, are approximately evenly distributed in all age groups, and the growth in their numbers causedby the process of the invalids is very small. In other words, diseases of the locomotor apparatus of the back with slight differencesare almost the same in young people, as in the elderly. For etiological reasons, pain in the back is divided into vertebrogenicand not vertebrogenic. The most common cause of dorsalgia is vertebrogenic. However, the clinical manifestations ofthe pathological process do not correlate with the morphological changes in the tissues of the motor vertebral segment andcan be observed in their absence already at the early premorbid (donor) stage of the disease. These processes are based onhemodynamic disturbances at the level of microcirculation. The treatment of patients with dorsalgias is complex, with anobligatory sanatorium-resort stage, using medicomentholics, apparatus physiotherapy, balneotherapy, peloidotherapy, curative gymnastics, massage, manual and traction therapy. All these patients are using a new technology of regenerativemedicine in the form of a method of carboxytherapy – installation of molecular carbon dioxide (CO2) in the tissue of alocomotor apparatus (subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intraarticularly, into mucous bags). Pathogenetic substantiation ofcarbon dioxide instylulations in dorsalgia consists in the fact that under the conditions of an aseptic inflammatory processin the muscular, periarticular and articular tissues of the locomotor apparatus, the processes of glycolysis are intensified, themetabolic products and biologically active substances, lysosomal and proteolytic enzymes accumulate. To remove them, there is a need to strengthen the tissue and collector blood flow, transcapillary exchange, which occur under the influence ofCO2 that is installed in the tissue. Essential in the antiinflammatory effect of carboxytherapy is its pronounced antioxidant.
