Balneotherapy in the medical rehabilitation of children with frequent acute respiratory diseases

ABSTRACT

Dry carbon baths is a challenging method for the prevention and treatment of diseases in children. The aim of the studywas to determine the effectiveness of the use of dry carbon dioxide baths in medical rehabilitation in children with frequentrespiratory diseases. Studies were conducted in 80 children aged 3 to 12 years. The therapeutic efficacy of dry carbon dioxidebaths in the medical rehabilitation of children with frequent respiratory diseases has been established. The use of dry carbondioxide baths helps to improve the functional state of the autonomic nervous system, indicators of mucosal immunity,reduce the frequency of recurrent infections.
