Art-psychotherapy in women after mastectomy for breast cancer

ABSTRACT

The aim of the study was to identify coping strategies, the level of anxiety and depressive disorders in assessing the effectivenessof art therapy with the creative expression of women after mastectomy for breast cancer in various rehabilitationperiods. In both groups of women there were identical coping strategies for coping with stress; flight-avoidance is the leadingnegative coping. Art therapy was effective in both groups of studies on indicators of situational anxiety, copying resources.
