Clinical and psychological criteria for the diagnosis of the current emotional state of patients with cerebrovascular pathology in a hospital practice

ABSTRACT

Results of a screening examination of three groups of neurological ward patients are presented. The aim of the studywas to form diagnostic criteria for current emotional state estimation in patients with cerebrovascular pathology for makingan individual psychological rehabilitation program. The study involved 47 patients of a neurological ward: with cerebrovasculardisease (CV) – 17 persons, with the consequences of vertebral fractures and brain injury – 15 persons, with postlaminectomysyndrome – 15 persons, aged from 24 to 69 years. Data were obtained on diagnostic criteria validity for theestimation of chronic fatigue degree while studying current emotional state of patients with CVD. This allows to includeprocedures aimed for fatigue degree reduction in the individual psychological rehabilitation programs of these patients.
