ABSTRACT

Aim. To assess the dynamics of Doppler indicators in the prostate of patients with chronic nonbacterial prostatitis on thebackground of complex treatment with combined effects of magnetolaser therapy and red light.Method of research. The study included 120 men diagnosed with chronic nonbacterial prostatitis. The main group of thestudy consisted of 60 patients who received a basic complex of treatment, including drug therapy, prostate massage, diettherapy, therapeutic gymnastics, in addition, patients of this group received a course of combined exposure to magnetolasertherapy and red light. The comparison group consisted of 60 patients receiving only basic treatment. Assessment ofthe dynamics of Doppler parameters in the urethral and capsular arteries of the prostate of patients was carried out beforetreatment, immediately after treatment and after 6 months.Results. Prior to the beginning of complex therapy, all patients with chronic nonbacterial prostatitis were diagnosed withsevere disorders of arterial blood flow in the prostate by the type of ischemia. The treatment of this category of patientswith the inclusion of combined effects of magnetolaser therapy and red light demonstrated a more pronounced statisticallysignificant improvement in arterial blood flow in the prostate compared to the basic treatment, both in the immediate andlong-term follow-up period after 6 months.Conclusion. The treatment of patients with chronic nonbacterial prostatitis with the inclusion of combined effects ofmagnetolaser therapy and red light demonstrated a more pronounced statistically significant improvement of arterial bloodflow in the prostate in comparison with the basic complex treatment.
