ABSTRACT

The relevance and the urgent character of the problem of traumatic arthropathy of the knee joint in children is due to thehigh frequency of injuries of this localization, comprising from 5 to 25% of all injuries of the musculoskeletal system.Studies conducted have ascertained the effectiveness of local air cryotherapy, which is characterized by an explicit antiedema, analgesic effect. An early regression of pain has been registered, the elimination of microcirculatory disorders in the area of damage as aresult of the course effects of pulsed low-frequency magnetic therapy at various stages of medical rehabilitation.Data has been obtained on the relief of pain, leveling of the phenomena of synovitis, improvement of the psycho-emotionalstate of children under the influence of a pulsed low-frequency electrostatic field in children with traumatic arthropathyof the knee joint. The expediency of usage of polychromatic polarized light with a trophic-regenerative purpose in traumatic arthropathyof the knee joint in children has been proved.
