Dear colleagues!
On behalf of the editorial office of the Bulletin of Rehabilitation Medicine Journal and the National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology FSBI of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, I welcome our readers and wish all my colleagues a happy new year!
May all your plans materialize and may you enjoy success in your work, as well as gaining new knowledge! Bulletin of Rehabilitation Medicine Journal indexed in the international Scopus database and included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, where the main scientific results of dissertations are required to be published, publishes the results of the most relevant and significant scientific research in the field of balneology and medical rehabilitation, providing an opportunity to exchange best practices in the use of natural healing resources in clinical medicine, including with international specialists.
Our team is continuously developing the journal with the goal of improving the quality of scientific publications and overall reader interest. I sincerely hope that the articles presented in our journal provide a comprehensive understanding of the development and improvement of such pressing areas of medicine as rehabilitation and spa treatment. Furthermore, starting in 2026, we will pay special attention to publications on the organization and economics of healthcare in the field of spa treatment and medical rehabilitation.
2026 will be rich in scientific events in the field of balneology, organized by the National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The first issue of the 2026 Bulletin of Rehabilitation Medicine Journal will be published on the eve of the IX International Congress “Balneotherapy in Health Resort Treatment and Medical Rehabilitation Programs”, which will be held in Moscow on March 19–20, 2026, to coincide with World Water Day.
The XII International Congress “Health Resort Treatment” will be held in Moscow on May 21–22, 2026, and the First All-Russian Congress with International Participation “Healthy Diet — a Path to the Nation’s Health” will be held in Mineralnye Vody on September 23–25, 2026. The congresses will become an open international platform for discussing topical issues in balneology, medical rehabilitation, and healthy lifestyles. We look forward to your participation in these significant events, which will offer you the opportunity to gain new knowledge and share your expertise in clinical and scientific work. The event will also provide a valuable networking opportunity, allowing you to meet colleagues from across Russia and abroad.
